Hunting for Better Results

Established in 2002, Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary proudly markets themselves as “The Original Wolf Sanctuary of Texas”. After years of operating as a small nonprofit rescue for Wolves and Wolfdogs tucked away in back roads of Montgomery County, SFWS decided it was time to move into a new season of growth. In 2020 the Sanctuary moved its pack to a new, larger facility with a vision to extend its reach.

Our Goals

  • Educate the public about the wolf’s important role in the wild and why they should never be owned as domestic pets
  • Create multiple virtual fundraising campaigns to support the Sanctuary during a pandemic
  • Improve wayfinding and signage throughout the facility for a better visitor experience
