Requesting Commissioned Paintings

Pet portraits, favorite animals, landscapes, and other special requests

Creating sentimental pieces is at the heart of Julie’s work. Having a custom painting in your home or office can serve as a wonderful topic for conversation and become a family treasure for generations to come.

The process: First Julie will discuss your vision for the painting, including the size you need and color preferences. You will need to provide one or more photos of the subject for reference as well as snapshots of the space that it will be displayed in. This will help Julie understand your personal style and get a feel for your decor. From there, a timeline will be provided for painting the piece, final approval, and shipping to its final destination. Full payment is required to reserve your commission on the commission calendar.

Julie Wright

Julie Wright as an Artist

Julie Wright is a graphic designer and fine artist based in Conroe, Texas. She began her career in 2012 as a graphic designer in a digital agency and would later transition in 2018 as a freelance graphic designer working with small business and nonprofit clients. While she did study both art and design at Texas Tech University, she did not intentionally begin her art practice as a painter until 2020. Today, she is able to offer clients a unique perspective as a creative professional having the ability to combine the discipline, skill, and creative exploration required of both commercial design and expressive fine art.

Julie Wright is an emerging fine artist whose works are inspired by nature, color, and shape. Many of her paintings can be described as a multitude of planes, shapes, and colors interlocking to create a single portrait or vignette. Her work is meant to spur conversations about how we have impacted our wild spaces and how moving forward we can begin to piece together the perspectives into a constructive plan of action. Her hope is that all of these viewpoints can come together to create a solution rather than remaining crippled and fragmented.
